Moored outside hear for the night. Lovely friendly landlady and locals. Great beer and gardens. Safe mooring for the night. Will stop again when passing
Great pub by the canal. Dog friendly.
I’ve been to a lot of places for Sunday lunch the food in the boathouse was one of the best some of the vegetables were slightly undercooked but that’s personal preference, the only little complaint I have is get a decent larger on , but overall very nice , I would say to anyone go try you won’t be disappointed. 👍
First time here tonight. Lovely old pub, lots of space and good number of tables. We had excellent meals and puddings. Very reasonable prices and nicely served. Will be back.
Came for the first time with my new partner for a Sunday Lunch and we were both blown away just how great the food looked and tasted. Not only that but the service was absolutely brilliant. We will definitely becoming back here on the regular and are looking forward to good times, food and atmosphere ahead
Dog friendly. Very welcoming. Great Garden for the summer and great log fire for the winter.
Great Sunday roast and at a really reasonable price! Staff were friendly and it had a nice atmosphere. Family and dog friendly
We popped in here for a drink and witnessed beautiful food being served on a Sunday. So much so we've booked a table for next Sunday. The atmosphere is lovely they show sport on TV's which is low in volume. Lots of people but not noisy. Staff very accommodating. You need to check out this hidden gem.
We went back here on Sunday 12th October 2025 to sample the Sunday lunch. What can I say.. it was absolutely the best food, and well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed it, served by lovely people. We'll definitely be going back for more.
Visited today after being recommended by another local business. The staff went out of their way to provide a great service, sorting my vegetarian wife out with a roast dinner (pre-book if you want non-meat-fat roasties).
We had a really good meal, at an amazing prize and will definitely be returning! Big plus for us was that its dog friendly!!
Good pub, great live bands and atmosphere and decent pint of Guinness, friendly staff and management, always say hello and made to feel welcome, food is homemade and value for money. 🤘
My partner now husband had our Wedding Reception here. Danny and Emma were more than accommodating to us. The Buffett made by Emma which was amazing as always when I’ve been to other events by them and I had lots of comments on how lovely everything was by guests. We had a fantastic evening also made special by the DJ Craig Heath who they recommended to us and would highly recommend again. Thank you to Dan and your excellent team.
